Hi, I'm Marcus.

I didn't grow up around money, and nobody handed me a head start. For years I assumed investing was something other people did — people with spare thousands, a finance degree, or a rich uncle. Turns out almost none of that is true.

What actually built my wealth was unglamorous: a regular paycheck, a few simple accounts, low-cost index funds, and the patience to leave them alone. No day-trading, no crypto moonshots, no $2,000 “masterclass.”

I started What The Wealth to teach the version of this I wish someone had shown me at the start — in plain language, with the real steps, for people earning a normal salary. Everything here assumes you're busy, slightly skeptical, and tired of being sold to. Good. So am I.
